Russell Roads actively supports and encourages employees to undertake training.  We work closely with InfraTrain to meet our training requirements.  Training is timetabled into staff key performance indicators which are reviewed regularly.

Dick Gibbs holds his Assessor Certificate and is qualified to assess 101 unit standards in civil construction.

Hirini Tamati has completed his Water Reticulation and Road Opening - Trenching certification.

Andrew Shannon completed his Water Reticulation (Service Person) - Level 3 certification in September 2010.

Bevan Kyle completed a Survey & Set Out - Stage 1 training course in August 2011.

Hemi Renata & Raewyn Dittmer completed Health & Safety Representative - Stage 1 training in June 2011.

Sam Hulks & Faalili Ah Lam completed a Bitumen Basic Safety training course in June 2011.

Shanan Harmer 
-  National Certificate in Civil Construction Works - Level 2-3 - expected completion April 2012.

Faalili Ahlam
- National Certificate in Road Opening - Trenching, Level 1 - completed in March 2010. 
- National Certificate in Infrastructure Pipelaying - Level 3 - completed in September 2010.

Sam Hulks
- National Certificate in Civil Construction Works - Level 2 - expected completion December 2010.

Junior O'Connell
- National Certificate in Civil Infrastructure (General Introductory Skills) - completed in January 2011.

In June 2011 our Staff took part in the Slinging, Lifting & Placing training Course run by NZ Contractor's Federation and InfraTrain NZ.
