An emphasis will be placed on building quality into our products, rather than inspecting the defects, by developing a culture of routinely doing things right first time. Responsibility for product quality will require the total support and commitment of all employees. A commitment to quality systems and improved customer service will be demanded of our suppliers.
Russell Roads will develop a method to systematically identify, assess and manage the actual and potential hazards in the workplace over which it has authority or influence and take all practicable steps to eliminate, isolate or minimise the exposure to any hazards considered significant.
All workplace incidents, injuries and non conformances will be accurately reported and recorded in a timely manner and investigated to ensure all contributing factors are identified and, where appropriate, plans formulated to take corrective action. To assist in the drive against unacceptable contract variation and the elimination of mistakes and waste, the cost of non-conformance will be monitored.
Russell Roads will ensure products are safe and without adverse environmental impact; reduce, reuse and recycle wast materials wherever practical; and dispose of waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
