Russell Roads team member Faalili Ah Lam has scooped the New Zealand Contractor's Federation Hawke's Bay Branch 2010 Trainee of the Year Award. 

As a Modern Apprentice, Faalili obtained his National Certificate in Infrastructure Pipe Laying Level 3.  In conjunction with this qualification he also obtained his National Certificate in General Introductory Skills and National Certificate in Road Open Trenching.

Currently working towards his National Certificate in Water Reticulation Service Person Level 3, Faalili is highly motivated to complete any training he undertakes and is already 75% through this qualification which he started in September 2010.

In August 2010 Faalili was one of two selected by InfraTrain from 13 entrants to attend a three week Outward Bound course.

Russell Roads believe that Faalili has a lot to offer the civil construction industry and are proud that he is one of our young up and comers.
